Annette Marie Sudbeck, 46 of Crofton, Nebraska died on Sunday, March 7, 2010 at the Avera Sacred Heart Hospital in Yankton, SD due to complications of Myotonic Dystrophy.

Mass of Christian Burial will be on Thursday, March 11, 2010 at 10:30 am at the Holy Family (Sts Peter and Paul) Catholic Church in Bow Valley, Nebraska with Rev. Eric Olsen and Rev. Michael Schmitz officiating. Burial will be in the Sts. Peter and Paul Cemetery in Bow Valley. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm with a Vigil Service at 7:00 pm at the Wintz Funeral Home in Crofton. Visitation will be one hour prior to services on Thursday at the church.

Pallbearers will be her nieces and nephews, Ashley Depledge, Sierra Depledge, Brandon Depledge, Zach Kramer and Brittany Kramer.

Annette Marie Sudbeck was born on December 6, 1963 to Duane Francis and Karen Ann (Crandall) Sudbeck in Yankton, SD. She grew up in the Bow Valley area and attended elementary school at East Catholic and graduated from Wynot High School in 1982. Annette worked at Hartington Telecommunications Inc., babysat and did some adult home care in Hartington. She was a former member of Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Bow Valley and a member of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Crofton, NE. Annette was a life member of the North Shore Animal League. She enjoyed animals and had a Cocker Spaniel dog named "Shelby", and a bird named Petie. She loved to read, knit and crochet blankets and dish cloths, was a former 4-H member, played piano, guitar, wrote poetry and did calligraphy.

She is survived by her mother and step-father Karen and Keith Kool of Crofton, NE; three sisters and one brother; Debbie Sudbeck of Crofton; Jeff Sudbeck of Yankton; Julie and husband Scott Depledge of Hartington; Bonnie and husband Marty Kramer of Hartington; 5 nieces and nephews, Ashley, Sierra and Brandon Depledge, Zach and Brittany Kramer; step-sister and spouse Kerrie and Dustin Konechne of Yankton, SD; step-brother and spouse Kent and Diane Kool of Lincoln, NE.

Preceding Annette in death was her father Duane on September 22, 1990 and an infant brother, grandparents.

Jeff I just noticed the passing of your sister. I am so sorry to hear that. Do you remember coming to Rapid City and staying with us at the Blble campus. You used to come and visit us with John Promes when we lived in Hartington and then when we lived near Rapid City. I live in Sturgis, SD now.
