John and family,

I am so sorry to hear of your mother's passing. Both she and your father hold special places in my memories and in my heart. Your mother, to me, represented a strong and classy woman. I, my mother, and many women of Yankton had great admiration for Katy. My thoughts and prayers are with you and yours.

My deepest sympathy goes out to your family. Your mom and dad were so kind to our family through the years. I remember them bringing all sorts of trinkets back from their many trips for us to enjoy. They held a special place in our family's heart. I am so very sorry for your loss.

Kathleen and Bud were wonderful supporters of a new project in the Yankton community, the indoor ice rink. The Yankton ice rink started five years ago and from reading an article regarding the rink in the Yankton newspaper, Bud and Kathleen sent a generous donation. In visting with Bud and Kathleen at their home, Bud stated how he enjoyed skating on a pond in Iowa as a youth and was happy that the same opportunity was now available to Yankton area youth!

Thank you to Bud and Kathleen and their foundation for generous support to our project.
