Judson J. Rowland, age 24 of Wynot, NE and formerly of Thurston, NE died on Friday, July 08, 2011 at his residence. Parents are Devin and Robin Rowland of Thurston, NE.
Funeral Services will be on Tuesday, July 11, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. at the Holy Family (Sacred Heart) Catholic Church in Wynot, NE with the Rev. Eric Olsen officiating. Burial of his ashes will be at a later date. Visitation of Judson will be on Monday at the Wintz Funeral Home in Hartington, NE from 5-8:00 p.m. with a Vigil Service at 7:00 p.m. Visitation will continue on Tuesday at church one hour prior to services.
Pallbearers will be Tim Rowland, Nicolas Rowland, Trenton Rowland, Sergeant Dustin Cole Rowland, Blake Henry, and Brady Deemer.
Judson James Rowland was born on January 3, 1987 in Pender, NE to Devin J. and Robin L. (Wright) Rowland. He grew up in Thurston, NE and attended Emerson Hubbard High School. He worked for Western Contracting of Sioux City, Iowa as an equipment operator. His employment involved working on the Missouri River.
Judson is survived by two sons, Judson James Jr. Rowland of Franklin, IN, Waylon Lee Rowland of Lindenwood, NJ; parents Devin and Robin Rowland of Thurston, NE; brother Dustin Cole Rowland of Leesville, LA; sister Megan Nicole Rowland of Thurston, NE; paternal grandmother Anne E. Rowland of Wetmore, KS; paternal grandfather James E. Rowland of Roger, NE; maternal grandparents Richard and Sue Wright of Pleasanton, KS; aunts Debra Henry of Central, KS, Lana Nelson of Brunswick, GA, Ronda and Frankie Roofstool of Pleasanton, KS, Jill Rowland of Platte City, MO, Jamie Rowland of Atlanta, GA; uncles Rick and Jodi Wright of Pleasanton, KS, Tim and Jill Rowland of Platte City, MO, Adam Rowland of Rogers, NE; sister-in-law Toni Rowland of Leesville, LA; niece Isabella Rowland, and nephew Jared James Rowland.
