You have our deepest sympathy in the loss of your Mother. When we took Irene Bart to church Sat. night , she asked if we ever heard how Alma was doing. She enjoyed her as a neighbor in Crofton.

MY SINCERE SYMPATHY ON THE DEATH OF YOUR MOTHER. I REMEMBER YOUR FOLKS FROM YEARS AGO WHEN THE MERKEL KIDS AND THE CHAMBERLAIN KIDS WENT TO THE JOHN TRAMP SCHOOL. ALMA WAS ALWAYS SUCH A NICE LADY.

Alma was my sister, Barb's, and my surrogate grandma. From six weeks of my life on, Alma was my babsitter, friend, other mother. I owe so much to her for taking care of me and loving me like family. Heaven has a new daycare specialist, and the children there are lucky.
Love and sympathies to all the Chamberlains ... thank you for sharing Alma with me.

I grew up with one foot in my house and the other foot in the Chamberlain house. Alma could not be a closer family member to me than if we were blood relatives. She has always been one of my favorite people on the planet, thanks to her humor, patience, huge heart, and big hugs. To discover we lost Alma here is heartbreaking to me, but I know she has peace and is welcomed to the next stage of her journey by Harry, her siblings, her parents, and my parents. So many people love her, and I am so lucky to consider her my "grandma".
Barbara (Bogner) Lee
Alma babysat and LOVED me throughout my childhood. She had a warm heart and an easy smile. Some of my favorite childhood memories involve her, her husband, Harry...and their home. I am so lucky to have had her in my life.

I would like to extend our deepest sympathy to the family of Alma. She was one of my favorite aunts. Our family made Alma's one of our summer vacation destination every year. My brothers, Bill, Dennis and I loved visiting Harry and Alma and sitting down to one of her great fried chicken dinner. No one could fry chicken like Alma. She always made our visit special and a adventure. Just riding in the old pick-up around the farm or going into Crofton and was a great adventure to city kids. My Mom, Delores Kosanke, was very close to her sister Alma and talked about her frequently. I have very fond memories of a wonderful, gentle, kind lady

Alma was like my second mother when I was growing up, many years ago. She was a wonderful and sincerely nice woman. Her fried chicken was out of this world. I have always had good memories of Alma. Love to all. Bill Kosanke
