Terry Dean Jackson, age 56 of Fayetteville, Arkansas died on Sunday, January 25, 2026 at his residence.

Mass of Christian Burial will be on Saturday, February 7, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Crofton, Nebraska with the Rev. Marcus Knecht officiating. Burial will be at the Crofton City Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday morning from 9-11:00 a.m. at church. Arrangements are under the direction on the Wintz Funeral Home in Crofton. A luncheon will be held at Wiebelhaus Recreation.

Pallbearers will be Rob Theobald, Dale Tramp, Dylan Gobel, Scott Sorensen, Shane Bengford, and Max Bengford.

Terry was born July 23, 1969, in Whittier, California, to Jerry Ann Jackson (Lay) and Larry Dean Jackson. He was raised in Crofton, Nebraska where he attended Crofton High School and graduated in 1987.

Terry worked as an over-the-road trucker before beginning his career with Tyson Foods in 2000. He spent 26 years with Tyson, where he wore many different hats throughout his career, most recently as the Senior Manager of Transportation. He was well-respected for his knowledge of the industry as well as his strong work ethic, honesty, adaptability, and dedication. Most of all, Terry was known for his great sense of humor.

He cherished time spent with his children and grandchildren. Terry also enjoyed relaxing at home with his girlfriend Deanna and his two dogs Oliver and Ava. He was a free spirit that went on many road trips and food adventures. Some of his other hobbies included golfing, bowling, and watching football.

He is survived by his children: Brittany Close (Xavier Tatum), Shelly Clark (Chase Clark), Mallory Jackson, and Cody Jackson; his grandchildren, Alayna Close and Mylo Clark; his girlfriend Deanna Phillips; his dogs Oliver and Ava. He is also survived by his aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family.

He is preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.

Terry will be remembered as a hardworking father, grandfather, friend and coworker whose humor and presence will be deeply missed.

Casual attire for the funeral is strongly suggested by his family.
