Susan Johnson Olson age 59 of Coleridge, Nebraska died on Wednesday, June 5, 2024 at Avera McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls after battling cancer and a stroke.

 There will be a visitation with her body present held on Tuesday, June 11, 2024 at the Wintz Funeral Home in Hartington from 5-7:00 p.m. A graveside service will be held at the Hartington City Cemetery at a later date.   Arrangements are under the direction of the Wintz Funeral Home in Hartington.

Susan Darlene was born on September 7, 1964 to Elmer William and Charleen Fay (Provancha) Johnson in Yankton, SD. She grew up in Hartington and attended Hartington High School. She worked for the Pizza Hut in Yankton for over 25 years. Susan also worked for Park View Haven Nursing Home and the Embers Assisted Living in Coleridge. She married Scott Alan Olson in Yankton, SD on September 11, 1987.

 Susan liked animals – dogs and cats.  She also did a lot of knitting.

 Susan is survived by her husband Scott of Coleridge; six siblings Elmer L. Johnson of Coleridge, Ann Elizabeth Johnson of Coleridge, Jay Johnson of Coleridge, Kenny and daughter Rya-Zack Johnson of Bloomfield, Mark Johnson of Bloomfield, Jerry Johnson of Bloomfield; nieces and nephews Emma, Zoey, and Owen Jonnason, and Tiffany Johnson.

 She was preceded in death by her parents Elmer and Charleen Johnson, a brother Kelly, infant brother Billy Joe.
