Stephanie Honeywell

Stephanie K. Honeywell, age 81 of Wynot, Nebraska died on Saturday, July 18, 2026 at Avera Sacred Heart Hospital in Yankton, SD.

A Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, July 22, 2026 at 10:30 a.m. at the Wynot City Cemetery in Wynot, NE. Arrangements are under the direction of the Wintz Funeral Home in Hartington, Nebraska.

Stephanie Kay was born on December 20, 1944 in Toledo, Ohio to Stephen and Barbara (Remis) Veres. She grew up in Whitehouse, Ohio and graduated from High School there. Stephanie married Alfred Jerome Honeywell on June 5, 1965 in Delta, Ohio. To this union two children were born, Stephen and Julie. Alfred and Stephanie moved to Wynot, Nebraska in 1989.

She spent her retirement years working in her yard, garden, and enjoyed her time with her dogs.

Stephanie is survived by her son Stephen (Steve) Honeywell of Wynot; daughter Julie Deeds of Wauseon, OH; grandson Justin Deeds and great grandson Bronsyn Deeds both of Wauseon, OH.

She was preceded in death by her parents Stephen and Barbara Veres; her husband Alfred on 9-30-2015 at the age of 70 years; and three sisters.
