Ronald George Pfund

Ronald G. Pfund age 77 of Creighton, Nebraska and formerly of Coleridge, Nebraska died on Monday, November 07, 2022 at Avera Creighton Care Center in Creighton, NE. Private graveside services were at Lawn Ridge Cemetery in Coleridge, Nebraska under the direction of the Wintz Funeral Home in Coleridge, NE. Ronald George was born on August 4, 1945 to George Benhart and Mildred Fern (Eaton) Pfund.  He grew up on a farm southwest of Coleridge and graduated from Coleridge High School in 1963.  Ronald had worked on the farm in his younger years.  Ronald resided in Coleridge until 2015 when he went to live at the Creighton Care Center in Creighton, NE. Ronald enjoyed hunting prairie dogs and was an avid sports fan.  He always followed the Huskers and enjoyed watching football and baseball. Ronald is survived by his brother-in-law Larry Murkle of Coleridge. He was preceded in death by his parents George and Mildren Pfund, and his sister Sharon Murkle at the age of 55 years.
