Patrick Ablert Gorman

Patrick Albert Gorman, age 70 of Yankton, South Dakota, died Tuesday, August 11, 2026, after a short battle with cancer, at Avera St. Michael’s Hospital in Tyndall, South Dakota.

A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 AM, on Saturday, August 15, 2026, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Yankton, South Dakota, with Reverend Bob Lacey officiating. Burial will be at a later date in Sacred Heart Cemetery in Yankton. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 PM on Friday, August 14, 2026, at the Wintz & Ray Funeral Home in Yankton with a rosary and vigil service at 7:00 PM. The Mass will be live streamed and can be viewed at www.facebook.com/WintzRay.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Avera Cancer Institute in Yankton or to Avera St. Michael’s Hospital in Tyndall.
