Mark was born on March 4th, 1967 to Jerome and Doris Noecker. Mark grew up on a family farm outside of Bow Valley, NE. He attended East Catholic Elementary School and Hartington Cedar Catholic, graduating in 1985. He went on to study at Northeast Community College and worked for 36 years at Prince Manufacturing Company in Hartington.
Mark married Leah Schulte on August 16, 2003 at Sts. Peter & Paul Church in Bow Valley. Together, on a foundation of faith, they built a family home outside Hartington, which became a beautiful legacy of unwavering love and his greatest joy. You would often find Mark working on their farm, gardening, riding a horse on a trail ride with friends, or spending time at the Missouri River with his family. He inspired his family with unwavering devotion to God, an adventurous and determined spirit, and to always appreciate family and friends.
Mark was a proud Southcricker–just ask any Northcricker. With family and friends, he loved to play pool and was often ready to join in a card game of Pitch. He loved tradition and was a loyal member of the Bow Valley Park Association and Schuetzenfest.
Mark was a faithful member of Holy Trinity Church. Mark trusted in God, and had unwavering faith that carried him over the peaks and through the valleys of his life. He trusted in God’s will, often relying on his mom’s words to anyone who was struggling, “Put it in God’s Hands.”
Mark is survived by his wife, Leah, and their two sons, Anson, 15 and Kestin, 12; siblings, Rick and Kathy Noecker of Hartington, Karen and Danni Thoene of Bow Valley, Bill and Laura Noecker of Hartington, Diane Bruning of Cloquet, MN, Darlene Flores of Hereford, TX, Lou Ann and Roy Creekmore of Hartington, Jeani and Steve Guenther of Papillion, NE, Steve and Karen Noecker of Bow Valley, and Randy and Donna Noecker of Bow Valley, and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents Jerome and Doris Noecker; sister and brother-in-law, Connie and Russ Snyder; brother, James Noecker; brother-in-law John Flores; and niece, Priscilla Flores.
