Marjorie Kaye Brandow age 83 of Coleridge, Nebraska died on Tuesday, November 10, 2020 at her residence under hospice care. Private family funeral services will be held on Friday, November 13, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Coleridge with the Rev. Russ Lambert officiating. Burial will be at the Hartington City Cemetery in Hartington, Nebraska.  A public viewing will be on Thursday, at church, from 5-7:00 p.m.  Face masks and social distancing will be required for the visitation and funeral.  You may watch a live stream of the Funeral at www.facebook.com/WintzRay/live/  Arrangements are under the direction of the Wintz Funeral Home in Coleridge. Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Nathan Munter, Travis Munter, Jordan Frevert, Tyler Teichmeier, Blake Teichmeier, Michael Teichmeier, Michael Brandow, Joshua Lewis, Bryan Dunn, Sean Dunn, Matthew Dunn, and Anthony Guathier. Honorary pallbearers will be Kaye’s granddaughters – Megan Heiss, Nicolette Frevert, Sarah Teichmeier, Jessica Fischer, Katelyn Brandow, Racheal Lewis, Lyndsay Dunn, and Lacohn Anderson. Marjorie Kaye was born on November 28, 1936 to Harry Rea and Mildred Alice (Curtis) Kenyon in Wessington, SD.  She grew up in Minnesota and South Dakota and graduated from Huron High School in South Dakota.  Kaye began working at Western Union as a Telegraph operator.  She married Dwight William Brandow on July 27, 1957 in Pierre, SD.  They lived in Pierre, SD for a while prior to moving to rural Hartington where Dwight farmed.  Several years later Kaye and Dwight moved to a farm west of Coleridge. Kaye was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and the Ladies American Legion Auxilairy, and the Pearl Creek Extension Club.  She loved raising flowers and was a great cook.  Kaye always had a terrific garden which led her to canning a lot of her produce.  Kaye cherished her family and her grandchildren. Kaye is survived by her husband, Dwight of Coleridge; six children and spouses Lori Munter of O’Neill, NE, Mary (David) Frevert of Bella Vista, AK, Judy (Ron) Teichmeier of Ravenna, NE, John (Christine) Brandow of Hartington, Ann (Greg) Lewis of Coleridge, Susan (Scott) Dunn of Coleridge; 21 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; a sister Mary Alice (Jim) Carey of Shelton, WA; a brother Curtis (Beverly Kenyon of Marshall, MN. She was preceded in death by her parents Harry and Mildred Kenyon.
