Gustave Arthur Boldenow

With a heavy heart we announce the passing of our beloved son and brother, Gustave Arthur Boldenow on Friday, June 13, 2025.

Gus was born on May 18, 1980, in Yankton, SD to Gustave F and Ardis M (Schmidtgall) Boldenow. Gus graduated from Crofton High School in 1999.

Gus worked in retail for most of his life. He enjoyed meeting new people and spending time hunting and fishing with friends and family. He eventually moved to Vermillion, SD in 2024.

Gus is survived by his father Gustave F Boldenow of Crofton, two sisters Ardis (Jason) Semple of North Sioux City and Linda (Mark) Schoenberner of Gayville, two brothers Gene Boldenow of Crofton and John Boldenow of Crofton, along with many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother Ardis (Schmidtgall) Boldenow.

A Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 24, 2025 from 4pm to 7pm @ Wintz Funeral Home in Crofton, Nebraska.
