Glenna Joy was born on September 5, 1947 in Wakefield, Michigan to David James and Ida Frances (DeMolin) Paro.  She grew up in Bergland, Michigan and graduated from Bergland High School.  Glenna furthered her education in Kearney, Nebraska by becoming and Radiology Technician and a nursing assistant.  In 1969 Glenna married Rudy Hoffman and a daughter, Katrina was born to this union.  She then married the love of her life, James Frederick Lentz on August 17, 1974 in Kearney, Nebraska.  She and James moved to Grand Island in 1979 and lived there until moving to Coleridge in 2012.

Glenna loved watching and cheering on the Nebraska Husker football team. Glenna took many trips to Michigan and loved being on the family farm near Hartington. When Glenna’s daughter’s friends came over, Glenna was like a second mother to them.  Many wonderful memories were created by Glenna that will last a lifetime.
