Eleanor Riibe

Eleanor Riibe, age 93 of La Vista, NE died on June 2, 2021 at her home. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 am on Saturday, July 10, 2021 at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Hartington, Nebraska with Rev. Owen Korte officiating. Burial will be in the St. Michael’s cemetery in Hartington. Arrangements are under the direction of the Wintz Funeral Home in Hartington, Nebraska. Eleanor was born on April 11^th 1928 in Hartington, NE to Frank and Mary Pick Sr.  After graduation she met and married Gene Riibe in Sioux City, IA on August 18^th, 1949. They had three children. Eleanor is survived by her children, Judy (Jim) Green of Lincoln NE; Jim Riibe of Omaha NE, Gary (Terri) Riibe of Herman, NE; 5 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild; two sisters, Mary Ann Larsen and Hildegard Huss. She was preceded in death by her parents Frank and Mary Pick Sr., Husband Gene Riibe, & Brother Frank Pick Jr.
