Dan L. Ausdemore

Dan L. Ausdemore, age 69 of Crofton, Nebraska passed away on Wednesday, April 8, 2026 at his residence following a short illness.

Private family graveside services will be held at St. Rose of Lima Cemetery in Crofton at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of the Wintz Funeral Home in Crofton.

Dan Ausdemore was born on February 22, 1957 in Yankton, SD to Emil W. and Josephine (Goeden) Ausdemore. Dan spent most of his life on the family farm, except for a period while he attended and graduated from Northeast Technical College in Norfolk, NE. He studied automotive services and worked as a mechanic at Peitz GMC in Hartington until his brother Dennis passed.

Dan is survived by his brothers, Ken (Darlys Miller) Ausdemore and daughter Britni, brother Marlin (Leisa) Ausdemore and children Erica, Michael, and Katelin.

Dan was preceded in death by his parents, Emil and Josephine Ausdemore, a brother Dennis; sister-in-law Pam Ausdemore; nephew Brandon; and his grandparents, uncles, and aunts.
