Connie Wieseler

Connie Wieseler, age 61, of Yankton, South Dakota died on Friday, March 29, 2024 at her home.

A private family service will be held for Connie and burial will take place at Immaculate Conception Cemetery in St. Helena, Nebraska at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of the Wintz & Ray Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Yankton.

Connie was born December 7, 1962 in Yankton, South Dakota to Eugene and Jeanette (Peitz) Wieseler.   She grew up on the farm near St. Helena, Nebraska and graduated from Cedar Catholic High School in Hartington.   After school, Connie worked at the family business at Mission Hill Lockers in Mission Hill, SD.  She also worked numerous other jobs in Yankton throughout the years.  Connie was last employed at Goodwill – a job she really enjoyed until a health issue forced her to retire.  Connie loved the company of her cats.

Connie is survived by her children: Ron Wieseler and Shani Cain; 11 brothers and sisters: Gary (Susan) Wieseler of St. Helena, NE; Larry Wieseler of Yankton, Richard (Joella) Wieseler of Ireton, IA, Roger Wieseler of Fordyce, NE, Danny (Marlene) Wieseler of Hartington, NE, Cindy (James) Welch of Crofton, NE, Tammy (Curtis) Brodersen of Coleridge, NE, Judy (Robert) Medeck of Yankton, Joyce (Dale) Knode of Mission Hill, SD, Alice Wieseler (Tim O’Hara) of Yankton, Teresa (Jerome) Kubal of Carrington, ND; and many nieces and nephews.

Connie was preceded in death by her parents.
