Clark A. Hoesing, age 59 of Hartington, Nebraska died of natural causes at his residence on Sunday, September 21, 2025. He was the son of Emery & Roberta Hoesing and father of Kris.
Memorial Services will be on Saturday, October 11, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at the Wintz Funeral Home in Hartington with Pastor Tom Tuura officiating. Burial of his cremated remains will be held at a later date. Family will receive relatives and friends one hour prior to services. Arrangements are under the direction of the Wintz Funeral Home in Hartington.
Clark Anthony was born on January 2, 1966 in Yankton, SD to Emery Lawrence and Roberta Ann (Kritzmire) Hoesing. He grew up on the family farm south of Hartington and attended Holy Trinity Grade School and Cedar Catholic High School in Hartington, graduating in 1984. Clark married Kathleen Lynne Rhoades on August 30, 1986 in Sioux City, Iowa. Clark and Kathleen had one son, Kris. Clark and Kathleen later divorced. Clark served in the U.S. Navy and served during the Gulf War on the USS Barbey. After his honorable discharge from the Navy, he also served in the Iowa Army National Guard. Clark lived in the Davenport, IA and the Quad Cities area for many years where he worked for Alcoa Company, which was an Aluminum Foundry company. He married Dana Bean in 2010 and later divorced.
Clark moved back to Laurel in late 2014 and eventually lived west of Hartington. Clark worked for Sapa (which became Hydro) in Yankton, SD, Baldwin Filters and several other jobs in the area.
Clark loved to tinker and make things from his newfound treasures. His greatest joy came from being with his grandsons on the farm, riding his 4-wheeler, and attending their activities.
Clark is survived by his son Kris (Amanda) Hoesing ; three grandsons Konnor, Aaron, and Reagan Hoesing of Coleridge; four siblings Darin (Dee) Hoesing of Coleridge, Elaine (Ed) Simpson of Lincoln, Clair (Emily) Hoesing of Beatrice, Angela (John Paul) Green of Lincoln; sister-in-law Patty Hoesing of Lincoln; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents Emery & Roberta Hoesing, granddaughter Kimberly Dawn Hoesing; brother Damian; several aunts, uncles and cousins.
