Cheri L. Ogle Duff

Cheri L. Ogle Duff, age 57 of Plainview, Nebraska died on Friday, January 9, 2026 at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, Nebraska

A Memorial Service will be on Tuesday, January 20, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. at the Wintz Funeral Home in Hartington, Nebraska with the Rev. Todd Thelen officiating. Burial of her cremated remains will be at the Concord cemetery in Concord, NE. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the Wintz Funeral Home.  Arrangements are under the direction of the Wintz Funeral Home in Hartington.

Cheri Lynn was born on October 5, 1968 in Fort Scott, Kansas to Robert (Bob) and Nyla (Kirkman) Ogle. She graduated from Sioux City East High School in 1987. She attended WITCC for nursing and NECC for Business. Cheri really loved spending time with her kids and grandkids. She enjoyed Stock Car races, camping, boating, going to movies, going out to eat, but most of all she enjoyed “family time”.

Cheri enjoyed cleaning houses throughout her life while also working at MCI, Gateway, WalMart, and CJ’s at Lewis & Clark Lake, and farming. She was one of the top 10 employees at MCI in Sargeant Bluff, Iowa and won numerous awards.

Cheri is survived by her three children: Caitlin Barney, Chandra Plunkett, and Josh Plunkett all of Plainview; two grandchildren Luna Davis and Asher Davis; her mother Nyla Davis of Sioux City, IA; step-mother Chrystal Ogle of Blue Springs, MO; half-sister Cinnamon Relf of Fort Scott, KS.

Cheri was preceded in death by her grandson Ender Davis, sister Amanda Davis; uncle Tony Ogle, father Robert Ogle; grandparents Burton (Daisy) Ogle, Charles and Nola Kirkman; great aunts Linda Coylter and Ruth Ann Roberts; and great uncle Joseph Barnett.
