Pallbearers are Dan Wallin, Travis Tilley, Randy Bos, Ralph Bos, Eli Bos, Andrew Bos, Jacob Bos and Caleb Bos. Andy was born on a farm just south of Hawarden, IA.  His siblings thought he was delivered to his parents by the doctor in his black medical bag. His family moved to a farm NW of Dell Rapids, SD, in 1946, attending a little white schoolhouse nearby.  There wasn’t running water or electricity on the farm until 1952.  He graduated in 1959 from Colman High School in Colman, SD. At age 19, after stacking hay bales, he met the eventual love of his life, Cynthia, who was only 14. He was quite embarrassed due to his sweaty, dirty appearance.  However, she too fell in love but was too young at the time. In 1961, he enlisted into the National Guard with basic training at Fort Leonard Wood, MO, working with artillery and was discharged 29JUL1962. He completed a month long training with heavy construction equipment. He worked with his brother Hank making radio parts, then did road construction. In 1965, he and his best friend Jim Richter toured the country.  He met Cynthia again and was married on June 10, 1967, at the Church of Christ in Sioux Falls, SD, moving to Wichita, KS, then to Everett, WA, working with Boeing constructing 747 airliners. In February 1971, he moved with Cynthia, Nick, Valerie, and Andrew to just south of Baltic, SD, changing his trade one last time to carpentry. He retired in Yankton, SD. Andy is survived by brother, Clarence (Myrna) Bos of Renner, SD; sister-in-law, Frieda of Sioux Falls, SD; three children: Nick (Vicki) Bos of Sioux City, IA, Valerie (Dan) Wallin of Columbus, NE, and Andrew Bos, Jr. of Yankton, SD; six grandchildren: Taylor Wallin of Omaha, NE, Heidi Wallin of Omaha, NE, Danielle (Travis) Tilley of Columbus, NE, Jessica (Josh) Gonzalez of Omaha, NE, Jacob Bos of Oklahoma City, OK, Caleb Bos of Oklahoma City, OK; two great grandchildren: Malachi and Levi Gonzalez of Omaha, NE. Andy was preceded in death by his father; John (Pre-naturalization: Yelte) Bos; mother, Grace (Pre-naturalization: Geeske) (Schotanus); brothers and sisters: Richard, Elsie, Ralph, Jeanette, Wilbur, Margaret, Charles, Adolph (Hank), John and his wife, Cynthia. Andy accepted God into his life in 1967 and worshiped with those in the Church of Christ.
