Beth Marie Wubben was born July 3, 1964, to Marcus "Mark" and Janice (Martinson) Wubben at Sacred Heart Hospital in Yankton, SD. She was baptized at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Yankton, received her First Holy Communion in Brookings, SD, and was confirmed at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Yankton. After moving to Brookings, in 1966, the family moved back to Yankton in 1975. Beth attended Special Education at Stewart Elementary School, Yankton Middle School and Yankton High School. She entered the Yankton Adjustment Training Center, now named Ability Building Services (ABS), in 1981. She was a participant at ABS until entering Avera Yankton Care Center on May 18, 2010. Beth had several jobs in the community and enjoyed many years working for Mollet Music Co.
Beth lived in her own apartment and was so proud of her home. She enjoyed going to ABS every day and coming home to be with mom and dad on weekends. She really liked to shop and going out to eat. She loved music, especially Country music, and had hundreds of CD's. Beth was always ready to go shopping for purses and had a purse to match every outfit. She couldn't wait for Friday so she could go play BINGO at the Center with her friends. She loved horses and all animals. Beth also traveled to Nashville and Disney World with her friends.
Beth was an outgoing, happy, special person and was loved by all who knew her. She was especially proud of her nieces and nephews. We will all miss our very special Beth so much.

Dear Janice & Family,
My sympathy to you as you say god-bye to Beth. I alsways enjoyed seeing her in the dental office and it was very difficult to see her start to decline in health. She lived a very full life thanks to you and your love! May she be at peace.

Janice and Mark, words cannot express the loss you must feel and the void in your hearts. Time and distance have faded my memories but the flickering flame of love of family remains steadfast and bridge the gaps of time. I hope you find peace in your hearts and know your loss is shared. God bless.

Hello Mark, Janice and family...
I was sorry to see Beth's obituary but wanted to say thanks for sharing her with the folks at the Yankton Care Center. She was a great room-mate I know and always seemed to have a smile for everyone. May God continue to bless you as she blessed all of us!
