Dora M. Peck, age 92 of Coleridge, NE died on Tuesday, June 3, 2008 at Park View Haven Nursing Home in Coleridge.

Funeral Services will be on Friday, June 8, 2008 at 10:30 a.m. at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Coleridge with the Rev. Andreas Stein officiating. Private family burial will be at Lawn Ridge Cemetery in Coleridge.

Visitation will on Thursday from 3-8:00 p.m. with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. at the Wintz Funeral Home in Coleridge. There will be visitation on Friday at the church one hour prior to services.

Pallbearers will be Claire Hansen, Darrell Henry, George V. Hefner, Earl Papenhausen, Dean Wilkerson, and Mary Jo Hansen.

Dora Magaretha Peck was born on March 16, 1916 in Coleridge, NE to Peter Christian and Maria (Papenhausen) Hansen. She was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran Faith at Immanuel Lutheran Church, where she was active all her life. She taught Sunday school for several years and was active in the Ladies Church Circles where she held several offices. Dora was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and the ALCW. She married Clifford Chalmer Peck on November 17, 1934 in Yankton, SD. They lived in the Coleridge area most of their lives. Clifford died on February 6, 1986 at the age of 75. Dora entered Park View Haven Nursing Home in April of 2003.

She is survived by her son Neil and his wife DeEtte of Sioux City, IA; 10 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren, and 4 step-grandchildren.

Dora was preceded in death by her parents, 2 sons, Larry and Vernon Peck; 4 brothers, Fredrick D., William I., Herman M., and Arthur H. Hansen.
