James Fredrick Kibble Sr., age 75 of Logansport, Indiana, died Saturday, March 15, 2014 at the Lafayette Soldiers Home in Lafayette, Indiana.
A memorial service will be 11:00 AM on Saturday, September 13, 2014, at the Wintz & Ray Funeral Home in Yankton with Reverend Dani Jo Ninke officiating. Burial of the urn will be in the Garden of Memories Cemetery in Yankton with military honors provided by the Ernest-Bowyer VFW Post 791 and the Ellsworth Air Force Base Honor Guard. Visitation will be one hour prior to the memorial service at the funeral home on Saturday.
James Fredrick Kibble, Sr. was born January 25, 1939 in Yankton, South Dakota to Vernon and Evelyn Kibble. Jim served in the United States Air Force from 1957-1961. After his military service, Jim worked as a police officer from 1962-1972 in Lodi, California.
Jim is survived by his four children: Angelina Jefferies, James Fredrick Kibble Jr., Joy Augeson, and Carrie Begley; his three brothers: Ronald, William and Roger Kibble; three grandchildren: Nathan Harmon, Codey Begley and Haley Begley; and one great grandson, Cameron Harmon.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Vernon and Evelyn Kibble.
