Roger McDowell Hiland, 70, of Crofton, Nebraska passed away on Saturday, Feb. 13, 2010 at the Golden Living Center in Hartington, after a long battle with cancer. A private visitation for the immediate family will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 17th at the Wintz Funeral Home in Hartington, NE.
He is survived by his wife, Judy; son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Susan Hiland of Hartington; daughter, Maggie Hiland of Mountain View, CA; and granddaughter, Alissa of Mountain View, CA.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd and Pearl Hiland, Minneapolis, Minn.; sister Phyllis Jean Benson, Minneapolis, Minn. and son, John Hiland, Sunnyvale, CA.
